Teddington Appliance Controls have launched a universal test unit for fire valves designed specifically for service engineers. This 220/240v AC tester is simplicity itself to operate. With a temperature range from 0 to 120 degrees C it offers a complete solution to all fire valve testing needs. The KBT1000 fits FEL and KBB capillary thermostatic firevalves as standard, for other brands with a smaller sensor phial an adaptor is supplied. Each Test unit comes with a full 12 month warranty, with the option to extend to 36 months and includes annual calibration for an additional £20 per year.
